just got this for my cat hope they like… so y is my car eating it .. is it safe for him eat… so they haven’t use it they just look at it

No regrets
No regrets. We travel two to three times a year and this is a very reliable litter box for those occasions. Easy to replace and I haven’t had to do any sort of maintenance yet.

Does a good job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat has used the box about 45 times now, she demanded that i change the litter at about 35 and its working for me great. It dosent have any smell good or bad not even when it got used enough that my cat didnt want to use it any more, and my cat and i live in the same room i sleep 5 foot away from her litter box. Not only does it move the solid waste out of the way it also sifts the liquid waste so that its not so concentrated. Any time i lift up the electronics i clean off the sensors and the box has only told me that the sensors were not reading once. There is not much ‘storage’ for the solid waste so with one cat i find myself lifting it up maybe 2 times a week to scoop the solids out and sifting any wet looking litter around. The counter and light makes knowing whats up and if its all good very easy as well as helping to keep track of how long its been since you emptied the solids out. Finally the litter and disposable tray idea is nice and handy especially to just get delivered however its very expensive at least up front. Depending on how long your cat is willing to use the litter and if you buy more in bulk or not might wind up causing the price to even out especually if you buy more expensive litter already.

Put a lid on it
I’m pretty much pleased with this set up for the cat. I did not buy the privacy cover kit now I want to add that on, but I am unable to find which lid would be compatible with the unit that I have. I’m not sure if I have the original or if I have the second generation I just have already put too much time into trying to figure out which lid is going to fit. So that’s my only complaint that accessories that you might want to buy later or not easily identifiable other than that it does scoop the poop. My cat likes to make a mess with the litter so I do need a lid.

hoping the new litter box fixes the issue!
Well I’ve had this item for less then a week and I’m getting a replacement one because I’ve had some issues with the waste. Getting behind the rake several times and and I’ve had to manually push the rake button to reset the litter Box so that it would work. I’m hoping the new item that I received from pet safe actually works better as far as when this item does work it works great for the approximate. 5 days that I’ve had it. I’m going to use this litter Box when I go on trips for short periods of time between 5 or 7 days. I’m not going to use it as my main litterbox as it is very expensive. I have 2 cats. And it’s just not financially feasible for me to spend approximately $50 a month on litter.

Not nearly as great as everybody says it is!
Does not control odor worth a hoot! It gets clogged easily if the cat has a very large poops. And it Hass to be changed at least once a week! So it is extremely expensive!!!

My cats and I hate this product
I’m so sorry I bought this the tray being made of paper ripped off the first day and the replacements are expensive and you know its made of cardboard so that your forced to buy them. The assembly is not clear enough and the rake just pushed the waste to one end and left it.

Terrible item; over priced
This is a very poor item for 3 adult cats as they advertised. The tray is not very deep so when it becomes wet, there is a very good chance the cat can get an infection. Second, the smaller tray that scoops away the solid waste is not big enough after several days. Which means you are replacing the litter or the tray after several and the price is high. example 3 for $70. Terrible item , wish I had purchased this poor quality item.
